Research Paper Award applications are ranked according to the scores given by the selection committee; the top 8 papers with the highest scores are selected for oral presentation at the congress. The research papers selected for the top 8 will be presented in two consecutive sessions scheduled in the congress/symposium program, which the selection committee members will attend and other interested participants may also join. After the 8 candidates have completed their presentations, the selection committee members will determine the top three studies.

The time allocated for presentation and Q&A for each research paper will be notified to the researchers by the CEC (Congress Executive Committee) when the selection for oral presentation is announced.

If the "yes" option is selected for the grant request at Step 10 while uploading award-nominated abstracts through the “Research Abstract Award Application” submission system, the presenters of the research papers selected for the top 8 may benefit from the congress registration and accommodation grant. They do not need to make another grant application to present their papers at the congress. For candidates who applied for the Research Paper Award but were not selected in the top 8, registration grants and accommodation support will be provided as resources permit, provided they wish to present their work as an oral presentation at the congress. General grant application rules also apply here.
