INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,

The 4th International and 28th National Clinical Education Symposium of the Annual Meeting of the Psychiatric Association of Turkey will be held on April 19–22, 2026, at the Pine Beach Hotel in Antalya, with the participation of our esteemed specialists and psychiatry residents.

Initiated twenty-nine years ago in response to the need for a shared platform where all bodies of our Association could come together to evaluate their annual activities, where working groups could develop through mutual interaction, and where our members could directly contribute to the Association’s policies, the Spring Symposia have today evolved into a strong international scientific meeting. This transformation has been made possible through the 30-year institutional experience of the Psychiatric Association of Turkey, the collective efforts of our professional community, and your valuable contributions. We are delighted to be advancing together along this journey of development.

We believe that your proposals for scientific activities, research studies, case presentations, oral presentations, and poster submissions will make significant contributions to the field and further enrich the scientific content of our Symposium. All activity proposals will be meticulously reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee, and, as always, preparations are underway for a symposium that will not only stand out for its scientific content-where experiences and expertise are shared and the foundations for new research are laid through emerging questions-but will also be memorable for the diverse meetings and social programs it offers, providing valuable opportunities to come together with our colleagues.

In order to support the professional journeys of our psychiatry residents, who represent the future of our profession and our Association, the Oral Presentation Grant will continue this year. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of the Research Presentation Award and the Research Project Incentive Award, which are offered to encourage scientific productivity and engagement in research.

We value the strength and solidarity created by being together during the symposium. For this reason, we expect all our speakers who submit activity proposals to participate in person. For our colleagues who prefer online participation, all sessions in the designated hall will be available for simultaneous viewing in a digital environment.

Our goal is to share an accessible, highly interactive congress experience with strong scientific quality and to add another page together to the professional gatherings that our association has sustained for 30 years with the principles of science, ethics, and solidarity. We are already excited for this meeting, which will be strengthened by your contributions, and we hope to host you in Antalya for a gathering full of solidarity and scientific exchange.

Looking forward to meeting you with health, hope, and professional solidarity...

Sincerely,

Serap Erdoğan Taycan, MD, Prof.
President of the Psychiatric Association of Turkey

Nalan Kalkan Oğuzhanoğlu, MD, Prof.
